Manage the natural gas meter replacement at your home.

The meter at your home will soon be replaced with a new smart meter that will provide several benefits not available with the current model. The most notable are safety features that will allow us to monitor the meter and help keep you safe.

Next Steps

To initiate the replacement process, there are two important steps for you to take:

  • Update Contact Information and Preferences

    We can send important notifications and appointment reminders via email, text and/or voice message according to your preferences.

  • Schedule Meter Replacement Now

    Select an appointment window for the meter replacement using the unique code* associated with your account. The new natural gas meter will be installed by Honeywell, a contractor for Piedmont Natural Gas.

* Your unique code will be sent to you via email and/or postal mail. If you are unable to locate your code, please call us at 855.671.2467.
