With the new streamlined experience, builders will be able to:

Apply for electric or natural gas service through a single request if their home is served either by Duke Energy or Piedmont Natural Gas
Reuse requests for homes in a development with similar specifications
Track the project’s progress
Confirm or update site ready date
Receive proactive notifications on project status and schedule updates
Have direct contact with support staff at Piedmont Natural Gas for any additional support needs

Want to Become a Piedmont Partner?

If you are a HVAC or plumbing contractor or equipment dealer interested in becoming a Piedmont partner and joining the Gas Advantage Program, here is what you need:

Partner Requirements

First, complete and submit the Gas Advantage Partner Profile. Then complete the remaining documents and email, along with a copy of your current Certificate of Insurance and current Contractor License to partnerfinancing@duke-energy.com. Once all requirements have been met, you will receive an invitation to join the Gas Advantage portal.

*Required if interested in participating in the Customer Financing Program.

Partner Resources

As a Piedmont Partner, you’ll receive several benefits, including assistance with sales leads, promotional materials, and installation and service support. Equally important, you may be eligible to participate in one of our financing programs.

All participants are subject to approval. You will receive an email confirmation once approved.

For financing inquiries, call 877.279.3636, select option 3, then option 1. Or you can email your proposal to partnerfinancing@duke-energy.com.
Satisfaction Statement
Once the customer has been approved and the equipment installed, email the invoice and satisfaction statement to partnerfinancing@duke-energy.com.
Required Information
When submitting your invoice and documentation, you must include:
Equipment types | Brand names | Model numbers | Serial numbers | Satisfaction statement signed by both the customer and contractor
